Collection: Jian Zhang

THE ARTIST

Jian Zhang was born in China and now lives in Ottawa, ON. He studied at Fuyang Normal University, the Central Academy of Fine Arts, and completed his MFA at Donghua University, China. He is a member of China Artists Association and Shanghai Artists Association. His early works focused on the theme of toys, after moving to Canada, his work shifted to still life and gradually adopted quieter atmospheres and brighter palettes. Zhang has participating in numerous exhibitions nationally and internationally, and has won several awards for his painting.
