THE ARTIST

I am an artist based in Ottawa. My artistic practice is deeply involved with the observation and contemplation of Ottawa’s many greenbelt and conservation spaces, how humans have altered the land, and investigating cycles of growth and decay in nature. Through my work in pastel I draw out the textural qualities of my subjects to highlight their ongoing transformation into new matter.
